What we love
Chickens + Bees + Growing Veg + Making Candles + Interiors = Bliss
We are a small family run business based in Aberlemno, Scotland which started out in 2019 selling beautifully coloured, assorted fresh hen eggs. We also now keep bees and have several hives at our farmhouse apiary and also at our heather apiary in the glens, on the edge of the southern Cairngorms. These different locations produce various tasty honeys throughout the year, Spring soft set honey, Summer blossom honey and Scottish heather honey. Inbetween this we love growing our own veg, herbs, fruit and creating our own hand poured candles and wax melts from beeswax and soy wax - perfect for your interiors or that of our farmhouse! We are small batch producers of all that we make by hand, around our love of living at the farmhouse, homegrown food produce, our love of bees and our creations for interiors, any other lifestyle products which we also love sourcing, are sourced specifically for us, for The Farmhouse Online. The Farmhouse Pantry
So this is where it all began by selling our delicious fresh assorted hen eggs as The Farmhouse Pantry! We now also jar our own Soft Set Honey, Raw Blossom Honey, Scottish Heather Honey and our infused honey flavours Cinnamon Honey, Vanilla Honey, Chilli Honey, plus some new infused flavours will be added to our honey menu here and there each year. Take a look at our online pantry, we will also at times have section frames and super frames of honey in the comb, honey in its most natural, rawest form, straight from our hives! The Farmhouse Home
We have always loved anything to do with interiors and now having moved to the farmhouse, which is in the process of being renovated, The Farmhouse Home is born! It begins with our range of hand poured beeswax (of course) and soy wax container candles, pillar candles and botanical soy wax melts. Our product range will gradually expand to include lots more accessories and lifestyle products, all sourced by us, specifically for us, with The Farmhouse Home vibe in mind ...
The Farmhouse Apiary
The Farmhouse Apiary is all about the bees! We are a family of beekeepers and love caring for our bees and increasing number of hives, through the seasons. Bees and their colonies are fascinating to work with and study and their importance, as we know, is part of the biodiversity on which we all depend for our survival! Through beekeeping, each year we breed several of our own queen bees, we will advertise when we have any of our beautiful queen bees for sale. In addition we will sometimes have nucs of bees available, we will advertise on these occasions too ...
